Impotence or erectile dysfunction is more often perceived as a symptom of aging in men. In fact, impotence can be a real alarm early symptoms of blood vessel disorders, such as diabetes or heart disease.
The experts who used to regard as an impotence psychological problems and aging, are now beginning to believe that the cause of impotence is the most physical illnesses, like diabetes, hardening of blood vessels, thyroid disorders or injury to the penis. Impotence start experienced by many men who are aged over 40 years. 2008 study showed 49 percent of men aged 40-59 years answered always get an erection during intercourse and 39 percent responded normally to an erection.
