Two Kinds of Women Experience Orgasm

Recent research experts pointed out, every woman actually has two different mechanisms or patterns in achieving sexual satisfaction. Scientists at Rutgers University, New Jersey USA, successfully mapped the pattern of the Eve orgasm using a scanner to determine the brain regions that were active when experiencing sexual arousal.

The results show, there are different mechanisms when women experience climax. One pattern emerged when they fantasize or engage in sex without a partner. Whereas other patterns are created when they're having sex with a partner.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the research team led by Barry Komisaruk perform scanning using MRI scans on a number of women volunteers and examine what happens in the brains of women when it reaches the climax.

The results of this study revealed a burst of activity in 30 brain regions women. Among the parts that have stimulated the prefrontal cortex area, part of the brain that control complex control functions such as imagination, desire and decision making.

Another implication is the women's brains it also has a different pattern of neural akitivitas when experiencing sexual pleasure, especially when they are in a state of their own or when with a partner.

According to researchers, it indicates that women who reach orgasm alone experiencing different things with when he was enjoying the peak of satisfaction with your partner or lover.

"This information can help find a treatment for women who are hard to reach orgasm, or even can not orgasm at all. This research helps to enjoy better sex," said Kayt Sukel, a volunteer who is involved in research.

While Mr. Komisaruk said: "Orgasm is a special case of the conscious state. If we can find another way of triggering the onset of orgasm, we may Dapa understand better how we can use top-down process to control what we feel physically".

Komisaruk results differ from other studies by scientists from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Similar research led Janniko Georgiadis shows, the prefrontal cortex in the off state when a woman climaxes. But this Dutch study focused only on women who have sex with their partner.

"When you ask someone what it was like an orgasm, they describe it as feeling a loss of control. I think, an orgasm does not eliminate consciousness, but to change it. Very likely there is a difference between someone who is trying to perform sexual stimulation mentally with those who received stimulation from your partner," said Mr. Georgiadis.

The experts plan to conduct similar studies in men. However, this study will meet a number of technical constraints, given a number of facts that most men are not much use of his brain during sexual activity, and duration of orgasm they were shorter.
